Lotzorai: Tancau beach
Situated along the east coast, less than three kilometres from the village of Lotzorai and just a few hundred metres from the entrance of Santa Maria Navarrese.
You can get there via Lotzorai, by following the SS125 towards Baunei for about 500 metres and once you arrive at the junction for Santa Maria Navarrese, turn right. After about 2km, you will see signs for the beach at Tancau on the right.
The beach itself is extremely beautiful, characterised by its white sand. It is also quite wide. On most of the beaches you will find toilets, bars and pizzerias. There are also roast meat sellers and sunlounger, beach chair and diving equipment hire.

Lotzorai: Pollu beach
This is the natural continuation of Tancau beach and it maintains a golden colour of the sand and open spaces. The crystal-clear waters are full of fish. Ideal for lovers of peace and quiet.
To get there, leave the centre of Lotzorai, turn left at the junction for Donigala and follow the signs for the beach.
It is accessible for wheelchairs and has ample parking, camping, a bar, restaurant, umbrella and sunlounger hire and raft hire.

Lotzorai: Lido of Roses
Protected by a dense pine grove and offering shade during the hottest hours of the day, this is a wide, white sandy beach looking out onto clear waters full of marine life, and the picturesque red porphyry formation of the Isle of Ogliastra. The shallow waters offer you the chance to wade out a way before diving in for a refreshing swim.
To get there, leave the centre of Lotzorai, turn left at the junction for Donigala and follow the signs for the beach.
It is accessible for wheelchairs and has ample parking, camping, a bar, restaurant, umbrella and sunlounger hire and raft hire.

Tortolì-Arbatax: Lido di Orrì
To be found along the coast south of Arbatax, at a distance of around 8km. It is, however, only 2km from Tortolì and about 5km from the village of Lotzorai.
You can get there from Lotzorai by following the SS125 south, after about 4km you will see the signs for Tortoli and Lido di Orrì. At the next junction, turn left towards Lido di Orrì and follow the road for a couple of kilometres.
The beach at Orrì is famous and enchanting. It is rich with inlets which lead to delightful deserted beaches. Orrì is considered as one of the most beautiful and clean beaches in all of Sardinia. It is a very long, wide beach, in fact it stretches on for almost 16km and is characterised by fine white sand with clear blue shallow water up to around three hundred metres from the shore.
There are numerous services of all types, from beach equipment hire to bars, street vendors and rides for children. During the lively, summer evenings, along the road which passes by the beach, there are stalls, music and various entertainment. A visit to this beach is absolutely not to be missed!

Lido di Orrì Lido di Orrì Lido di Orrì


Tortolì-Arbatax: Cea beach
Found on the coast south of Capo Bellavista between Tortolì and Barisardo.
You can get there via the S.S.125 southbound, then by turning left for Lido di Orrì, which you must follow right to the end past the Golfetto, or, still southbound, after having followed the road for about 8km, near the 133km signpost of the S.S. 125 you will find a junction; turn left and follow the signs.
The beach is very long, with fine, white sand. To the south, it is bordered by a long rock formation known as Punta Niedda, while just beyond the beach there is the volcanic rock formation of Teccu. This beach is easily recognised by the presence of beautiful red rock stacks just a few metres from the shore and numerous people dive into the water from them.
There are not as many services as at Orrì, although there are a few bars, ample parking and beach equipment hire.

Barisardo: Torre di Barì
It is found along the east coast of Sardinia, at around 4.5km from Barisardo and about ten kilometres from the village of Lotzorai.
You can get there by following the S.S.125 south for Barisardo, where you will find a turn-off which leads to the beach.
The beach itself is about 8km long and 100m wide, divided into two parts by the rocky promontory upon which sits the Tower. Part of the beach has sand with grains as big as rice and a light ochre colour, while the other part is pebbly. The beach is sun-kissed right up till sunset, the waters are always calm and the sandy bottom slopes away gently. The backdrop is splendid. There is not an excessive number of services and so the beach never gets overcrowded. There is sufficient parking, a bar and canoe, pedalo and umbrella hire.

Torre di Barì


Cardedu: Perde Pera beach
Situated at approximately 3km from Barisardo, south of Arbatax and Tortolì.
You can get there from Lotzorai by following the SS125 towards Cagliari. After about 10km, you arrive in Barisardo, continue south past the bridge and then take the left-hand turning with signs for the beach.
The beach is very big and is notable for its width. Perdepera, which means “pear-shaped stone” in the local dialect, has fine, white sand.
All services can be found in the village.
